Every chair we build reflects our commitment to ergonomics, durability, and the wellbeing of high-performing professionals. That’s why we back our products with a comprehensiveΒ 5-year limited warranty, giving you peace of mind with every order. This warranty applies to:

  • Structural components and craftsmanship
  • Cold-molded foam integrity
  • Mechanical systems, including recline and tilt mechanisms
  • Gas lifts and adjustment systems (e.g., seat slide, lumbar, armrest)
  • Base and frame construction (aluminum or steel)

What Is Considered a Defect

A "defect" refers to any mechanical or material failure that impairs the product’s intended function under normal usage. Cosmetic wear (scratches, dents, pilling) and natural aging of materials do not qualify as defects.

Geographic Coverage

This warranty is valid for orders shipped to:

  • The United States (including all 50 states)
  • Canada
  • The European Union

Orders delivered via third-party freight forwarding services (e.g., when forwarding outside the U.S. or EU) are not eligible for warranty coverage.

Warranty Eligibility

To qualify for warranty service:

  • You must be the original purchaser
  • The item must be used in a normal office or home-office environment
  • You must provide proof of purchase (e.g., order number or receipt)
  • The claim must be submitted within 5 years of delivery
  • The product must not have been modified, misused, or used with incompatible parts

Shipping of Replacements

If a replacement is approved, we will ship the part or product to you at no cost. In some cases, we may request that the defective item be returned for inspection. We will cover return shipping only if the return is pre-authorized as part of a warranty claim.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To begin a warranty claim, simply email us atΒ support@vertuliving.com with your full name, order number, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photos (or video, if applicable) showing the defect. Our support team is available 24/7 and typically responds within 1 business day.

If your claim is approved, we will offer one of the following solutions at our discretion: replacement parts, repair instructions or assistance, or a full product replacement of the same item, color, and configuration.

What’s Not Covered

The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Cosmetic changes from normal use (scratches, scuffs, wear on leather/fabric)
  • Damage from misuse, accidents, or abuse
  • Changes in color due to sun exposure, heat, or aging
  • Use outside of residential or commercial office environments (e.g., warehouses, outdoor use)
  • Modification with non-original parts
  • Damage caused by exceeding listed weight capacity
  • Damage from improper assembly (unless installed by Vertu Living or authorized partners)
  • Damage due to cleaning with harsh chemicals, alcohol, or abrasives
  • Natural material variations (wood grain, leather grain, textile pilling)

Warranty Limitations

This warranty:

  • Applies only to the original owner and is non-transferable
  • Covers only Vertu Living brand products purchased new-in-box
  • Does not apply to replacement part purchases made separately
  • Does not cover upgraded or custom configurations outside our catalog

Damage Upon Delivery

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. If the item arrives damaged:

  • Report damage within 7 days of delivery to support@vertuliving.com
  • Include photos of the packaging and damaged item
  • Keep the original packaging until your claim is resolved

Claims made after 7 days may be denied.

Processing Time

Most approved warranty claims are resolved within 1–3 business days. Replacement parts are typically shipped within 1–2 business days of approval.

Legal Compliance

This warranty does not override consumer protection rights applicable in your jurisdiction. For customers in the European Union, this policy operates in addition to your statutory rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
